Please Please Me (1970s UK Parlophone Stereo Reissue)

UK
This UK Parlophone release (PCS 3042) is a stereo reissue of the band's historic debut album, Please Please Me. This specific unit is a mid-1970s pressing, identified by the silver and black labels featuring two EMI "boxed" logos and the "EMI Records Ltd." perimeter text.
As a 1970s UK import, this record is a significant upgrade over the common North American Introducing... The Beatles or The Early Beatles configurations. It features the original 14-track UK running order and the iconic Angus McBean "stairwell" cover. These 1970s EMI pressings are highly regarded in the Canadian collector market for using high-quality analog masters that deliver a punchy, clear stereo image far superior to the domestic Capitol re-channelings.
